I recieved an IM one day and it said that I had to forward that particular message to all my contacts. Help?

I didn't forward it and my Yahoo Messenger hasn't been working since. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still can't sign in. I chose firewall and no proxies. I don't really understand the lingo but it still didn't work. I e-mailed yahoo about it and haven't heard anything yet. Something about the logs and no retrieval. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
