How the hell do I be cool in an uncool situation?

I'm in 8th grade at a small Lutheran school. I went to public k-7 but last year i got in a bunch of trouble so my parents sent me to public school. At the Lutheran school we have a dress code, and we have to tuck our shirts in. At a public school i would be called a fag. How do i remain cool even at a Lutheran school?
