Mario Dewar Barrett is 23 years old and was born on the 27th of August, 1986. He is well-known due to his talent as a Rhythm and Blues and pop singer. He has been recognised for his achievements with a Grammy nomination and two Billboard awards. The Billboard awards were for the two songs that he is best known for - "Just a Friend" which he released when he was 18 years old and "Let Me Love You" which was released two years later. Barret has also appeared in two films - Step Up and Freedom Writers. Go! (his laterst album) was released in time for the Christmas run-up in December 2007. In the following February, he appeared in the sixth season of Dancing on Ice where he was partnered by Karina Smirnoff. Recently, Barret has been working on a new album and this is shortly due for release.
