No matter how badly you sinned, eternal damnation would inevitably outweigh those sins?

It's not really fair. If someone murdered someone then got shot by a cop or whatever, someone religious would say that they'll get what they deserve in hell. But wouldn't eternal torture eventually outweigh any sin committed on our humble planet because well, it's infinite?
