Plz help me...my one and only bestfriend left me and i need to move on. How??

Right now i feel so upset as my bestfriend juz left me to pursue his ambitions. He was my boyfriend for 4yrs but we brokeup last yr and then become friends and soon after he was my bestfriend. i turn to him for advise whenever i have problems and he was my punching bag whenever i was frustrated. He's currently jobless and he help me with the house chores when i go to work. Whenever he needs some cash to spend, i'd give it to him and was never calculative. We both shared a great chemistry and he was my pillar of strength. Somehow today we quarrel about an issue and it lead to his decision to move out and live with his family. He said he wants to leave me do his own thing and also to be with his family. Its not the first time he ditch me. He dump me b4 and i forgive and kept giving him chances but he left me again and again. And i told him once you step out of the door im severing my friendship ties with you and you can forget about seeing me forever. He said "OK" and he pack his stuff
