What types of government income help am I entitled to?

I had surgery on my achilles tendon, 12 month recovery time. I was fired from my job because of it (85 days into the 90 day probation period). I cannot find a job and my bank account is quickly diminishing. I'm only 20, and I made less than $10,000 last year and less thank $4,000 this year. I know I'm not eligible for Social Security Disability, but am I eligible for SSI? Are there any other programs out there that can help me?
